The clumsiness of the Fred breeding technique, coupled with the desire to consume recently birthed offspring, has led the Fred nest to begin recruiting members from outside the lair. This in itself is not unusual; look how many Hermans have fallen for the lies of the Fred.

But to make such a public display is a new twist, and one that carries the stench of desperation. To the Herman nation, this warning is offered:

Resist the lure of the Fred. Their promises of pretend biscuits, neat eyebrows and lovely shoes are lies. They can offer only dirt, darkness and the repeated playing of 'Big River' by Jimmy Nail - the secret Fred anthem.
